Whelp, she's now legally able to watch rated-R movies. Thankfully, she's not really interested. She'd much rather spend her time eating at all her favorite places with family, so that's pretty much how we spent Naomi's 18th birthday week!

Yep, we are all about 5lbs heavier after the last week! But totally worth celebrating Naomi's favorite foods! And we did include stops near most of the above to experience her other favorite things...

Thrifting! Naomi "heard" on youTube about all the fabulous treasures that can be discovered at a flea market, so we headed to one of Dallas's biggest: Traders Village. It is definitely big. And there's tons of stuff (treasure is in the eye of the beholder). But we learned that the middle of the day in August is NOT the time to stroll around hunting for treasures. 🔥

Jeff saw this coming, so he had a back-up plan with a list of near-by thrift stores! Naomi did find a few gems inside where there was plenty of cold A/C, and Danielle had oodles of fun scouring for matching sister outfits! Think: How the Grinch Stole Christmas!

While in the area, we popped into Dave 'N Busters for a few games - something we've been doing for quite awhile!

Naomi is forever a "night owl", which in turn means she is not much of a morning person, not even on her birthday! This just might be the final visit for the birthday balloon fairy...

So what's the first thing she did as an 18-year old? Bought a lottery ticket of course!
