Motley Crue

Although their debut album came out in 1981, it was 1983's Shout At The Devil that found it's way to MTV. Ya might even say Motley Crue's success kinda kicked off what became known as Hair Metal. Although the genre is largely associated with ballads ("every bad boy has his soft side"), this early effort is all guitar riffs. Just awesome.

Ya know, it's normal for bands to do everything they can to defy aging. And not unusual to add some help, usually in the form of another musician or backup singer. Motley Crue though takes a different approach: strippers! dancers! Who's gonna notice if the band is moving a little slower with this going on?
