Briefly Naomi

A long weekend early in the semester meant that Naomi could home for quick visit! Yes, she still had homework to fit in (par for the course for an engineering student), but at least we could be around her for a couple days. 😍

As soon as she arrived, the countdown to fit in her favorite foods started. First up: Angelina's, of course. 

Because it was a holiday weekend and we were home (while seemingly everyone else was traveling), that meant dog duty for us, and well, dogs make Naomi extra happy.

And yes, while we were at our next meal at In n Out Burger -- Naomi insisted on a pup patty for Trixie. Because, dogs.

 

Naomi also loves the band KISS. Lucky for her, one of the best tribute cover bands for KISS (Rock & Roll Over)  happened to be playing in Frisco! (Danielle was working.)

And back to the food must-dos...lucky us: Olive Garden brought back the Never Ending Pasta Bowl. We went in with a plan to maximize our consumption. It is all so promising in the beginning...

And then reality hits, about halfway through the second bowl!

Jenny floundered, Naomi persevered, Danielle triumphed...

But Jeff dominated! (This list includes leftovers.)

The weekend flew by, and before we knew it, Naomi was loaded up and giving hugs!
