Tasting Naked

Time for another taste test! The category this time: Naked chips

Meaning no artificial colors, flavors, ingredients.

This was a delayed birthday activity for Naomi. This taste taste was more about if we simply liked the Naked chips. We did not do a blind taste test comparison with their chemically counterparts. 

Flamin Hot Crunchy Cheetos and Cool Ranch Doritos were ranked the highest across the board for flavor. Dinamita (similar to Takis) was unranked because none of us had ever eaten Dinamita before. Overall, the tastes were pretty similar to what we remembered, mostly just a "weaker" flavor when there was a difference. Impressive.

Another fun time sampling and tasting. I think we'd all agree that Frito Lay has done an excellent job cleaning up the ingredient list in chips! The tastes were pretty similar. However, chips are chips and are still not really considered "healthy". At least there are fewer chemicals now, so one can feel less bad about consuming them. 😁
