DARI Day

A short time after Homecoming last year, Danielle and Ari officially decided to became boyfriend and girlfriend, whatever that means to 9th graders. Well, one year later, they are still together! Still no solo dates, but plenty of hanging out, attending each others sporting events, celebrating birthdays/holidays and doing homework together over facetime. As their one-year mark approached, they planned a special day to celebrate the milestone. Jeff aptly dubbed it: DARI Day.

The day started with Danielle attending Ari's TCHS off-season baseball game. She sat with his grandma and chatted about scary movies, while Ari played center field and catcher (not his normal position).

After quick lunch break, we regrouped and headed to Top Golf. Neither are that serious about golf, but Danielle crushed beginner version of Angry Bird, while Ari showed off his impressive form and powerful swings.

Note: Always pay attention to Danielle and Ari's cloths 😍

No guarantees in life, except this!

Keeping the outdoor, sporty theme going, we headed to the nearby park for pickle ball! BTW, it is not supposed to be this hot in October, but the heat did not deter a friendly competition.

Talkin' Strategy

Who's got the seam?

Winner of 2 out of 3 sets

Everyone had worked up an appetite and was ready for their favorite dinner of choice: Wingstop!

Dinner while watching Beast Games

A first time experience: Crumbl Cookies

3 Mini Cookies - so cute!

They continue to be adorable together (in complementary clothes) encouraging and genuinely supportive of one another.

NOTE: They much preferred this day of fun as opposed to attending Homecoming.
