Naomi's Senior Walk

This month has been chalk full of Naomi's Senior activities. (I had no idea how many different ways there were to celebrate being a senior...but oh, so fun!) I think this might be my favorite one though: Senior Walk -- an opportunity for seniors to return to their elementary school and middle school to see former teachers and parade thru the halls in front of wide-eyed little one's!

First stop: Morningside Elementary. There were not many teachers still there after 7 years (and after Covid decline), but Naomi was happy to see a couple of her favorites!

Her kindergarten teacher, Mrs. George, (who is no longer at Morningside) did come back for the celebration!

Sweet memories, sweet treats!

Next stop: Griffin Middle School for a fab group picture and a parade through the halls!

And the last remaining "walk" before the final, official high school graduation, was a ceremony for The Colony High School Collegiate Academy. Cohort 4 received words of wisdom from Collegiate administrators at The Colony and the president at Collin College.

This was one more chance for Naomi to wear the Collin College regalia!

...and receive her limited edition Collegiate Academy Cohort 4 stole -- there's only 80 of these in the whole world!

Naomi has received lots of advice about being curious, taking on challenges, dreaming big and believing in herself! She's been in training for the last 13 years with a zillion teachers, admin and staff pouring much love and knowledge into her. Can't wait to see what she does with it!
