Danielle recently had a unique opportunity to play in the Cougar Challenge at The Colony High School. This volleyball tournament was open to any players, any age, any experience! Danielle signed up with fellow Griffin 8th graders and their 8th grade volleyball coach!
This mix of Griffin Pride players had only 3 practices together, but managed to come together as a team and make a good showing at the tournament. (Yes, that is Coach Owen on Danielle's back!)
They had several very close sets and did pull off a victory, but the main goals were accomplished: play with Coach Owen, have fun and get a head start in The Cougar volleyball scene!
