Leap!

It's incredibly random, but I've said it before: I really like love Leap Day!! 

I like the science element of the day-- the fact that we have to correct our calendar to match the orbit around the sun. There is math involved -- the year has to be divisible by 4. I like that it only happens every 4 years -- so that makes it rare and special, but not so infrequent that you miss out. I like the notion of "leaping" -- it's just a happy connotation to me. 

But the best part is that it is a great chance to capture leaping pictures -- I really like the expressions and body positions that come with leaping pictures -- and all the laughter from the failed attempts. Plus it is great to have a built-in, recurring photo op for comparison photos (which I also really like)

So here we go... 2024...another chance to celebrate all of the above!
