As an 8th grader in LISD, Danielle had the opportunity to apply to Collegiate Academy at The Colony High School. Yes, same as Naomi 4 years ago. This program allows high school students to earn 60 hours of dual credit from Collin College, and receive their Associates Degree weeks before graduating from high school.
Danielle went thru the process and completed all the required steps: lots of forms, a video recording and the TSI English college-readiness assessment test. She passed with flying colors and was recently invited into the program!

The big question: Can she do Collegiate AND play volleyball? The answer: YES! (good answer.)
The next big question: Are any friends doing it? YES! (another good answer.)
Danielle is officially in for Cohort 8, class of 2028! Congrats Danielle, we are super proud and excited to see how your collegiate journey unfolds!
So, yeah, this means we've now got TWO college students in our midst.
