How is this possible?

While I was whining to a friend about how my awesome Jeep Renegade had been taken from me before it's time, he said "C'mon, you can find another one." "With manual transmission? With low miles? And not like yellow or something?" I countered. "No way."

A couple days later... Kris: "I think I just found your car!"

Turns out, yes, there is another one out there, but it's half way across the country in South Carolina. So... great(!), but hmph...

South Carolina... hmm... me to Jenny: "You think your sister would test drive a car for me?" Long story short, YES, she will! Even with the distance being a little farther away than I thought, she made a day of it and was able to actually lay hands on it in person for me. Julie: "Looks good to me, and it drives great."

So, after pondering all the options, including buying it in South Carolina and driving it back, I ended up just having it shipped to my local CarMax and getting it here. In this case, the simplest option was the best.

And it feels like a second chance! Not quite a get out of jail free card, because $$$, but pretty close. And for such a specific car... pretty unbelievable!

For the record, it is exactly the same as my original Renegade in every way except the interior color. Which means, yes, it's another stick shift!
