RETR@migo: October 23, 2015

Thankfully, no more walls have been destroyed, but Trixie does still manage to find any morsel of food or candy or gum that is within her reach! And we regularly unearth her previously buried treasures in the backyard.

Ok, so, everyone has heard about the early days of Trixie and her destruction. It took us a while, but she trained us to "Trixie-proof" everything when she was left unattended. She stays in her cage when we are at work. She stays outside during the day when the weather is nice. She is locked inside the house overnight, so that she can't bark incessantly alerting the police.

Well, she has reached a new level! She was recently left for one short night, and see how she repays us: SHE ATE A HOLE IN THE WALL!!!

We are not sure how she did it -- it was a smooth spot in the middle of the wall, no outlet or anything. We suspect she must have heard or saw a critter outside and started scratching, which eventually gave her a place to start chewing. She is clearly a "chewer". This was apparently done after she devoured the nice, big bone we left for her for the night.

She did chew through some wires. One of the owners of the house was reportedly heard saying: "Too bad they weren't electrical wires!"

In conclusion, she has bought herself a ticket to be officially boarded during all our future vacations! She cannot be trusted inside or outside!
