All Green

I can't believe I'm typing this...yes, it is really happening...it is becoming more and more real! Another step in Naomi's educational journey is accomplished: her first official college application has been submitted to...

She had a goal to complete her application to Texas A&M in August before her 3 dual credit classes started at school, and she did it! 

Over the course of about 3 weeks, Naomi put her excellent organization skills to work making it through dozens of required steps (with a little help from Jeff). Her writing talent came in handy for her essays. Just for posterity, these were the essay prompts:

1. Long essay: What unique opportunities or challenges have you experienced throughout your high school career that have shaped who you are today? - Covid-19, mental health and her PALs class
2. Write about a Life Event - starting to work at age 15
3. Person with Most Impact - Nancy Drew
4. Engineering Essay - Environmental Engineering - finding a new way to protect the environment

Using the CommonApp made it easy to keep track of all that needed to be completed. And now, much of the work has been done which allows her to efficiently submit the same information to other universities, wherever that may be! 

And so now she waits for a response...
