Naomi was at her soccer game and had to miss out on some of the fun. Fortunately, Danielle was able to hunt PLENTY of eggs to share with her sister (this was just for the 3-5 year old group!).
The festivities continued with a visit to see Grandpa / Great Grandpa. Naomi, Danielle and I delivered Eastery flowers and then took Grandpa to have lunch at his "new" place.
His new place is "very fancy", as Naomi described it. The girls were well behaved for the formal, 4-course [read: one-hour-long!] meal because they felt like they were at a princess tea party!

The creativity flowed at the annual Smith family Easter-egg coloring contest! The egg designs are getting quite elaborate as the kids get older (well, there is still the coveted "most cracked" category).
Events wrapped up on Easter day. Naomi and Danielle enjoyed searching for eggs (while Trixie was caged up, so she couldn't eat the plastic).
Lots of puzzles, stickers and candy for another year!
The girls also helped out during the Easter service at church. They have been lighting the candles and collecting the offering for the month of April, so it was a nice bonus to be involved on Easter. (Naomi noticed and was surprise by how much money people contribute on Easter Sunday!)
