Living in the Mirror Universe

I had a deja vu moment while getting coffee at work the other day. No big deal, right? It happens from time to time.

Only this time, I realized it quick enough that I knew how the moment was going to conclude before it actually did. And then I jumped into an alternate universe.

Wha... how?

By NOT allowing the moment to conclude the way the deja vu showed it. Instead, I intentionally did the opposite. And to be sure I wasn't just delaying the inevitable, I followed that up with 10-20 seconds of off the cuff tasks that took me away from the coffee machine altogether.

So yeah, I feel like my life is a little more unpredictable now. And I kinda like this staying one step ahead of reality thing. Maybe it's my super power.
