Custard Connoisseur

Danielle was encouraged to work again this coming summer, and the best time to look for a summer job is before summer begins and all the jobs get filled. Thus, one of her Spring Break assignments was to begin the process of looking for a job -- make a list, apply to several places and see what happens. 

Well, apparently Danielle has great employable skills or she is one heck of an interviewee, because within days, she had TWO jobs offers on the table. What was the verdict?

Perhaps she was a top pick because she was already qualified for this position, as this is another round in the world of custard for her. With prior experience under her belt, she's rapidly working her way through the various training stations: machine, fountain and drive-thru. 

How does she feel about her job? Well, it is still a 4-letter word (w-o-r-k) and she'd rather be doing her own thing.  

 

But under the circumstances (ie. she is 16 and needs some type of productivity to keep her brain from turning to mush outside of school), she gives it the thumbs up. It doesn’t hurt that she’s working with a fun, young, laid-back crew, and at the end of the day, she’s serving up a little bit of joy, one custard at a time. A WIN for everyone.
