With the Winter Olympics wrapping up <sigh>, and the forecast showing all 70+ degree days ahead, I need to put one more item in the official record. Sort of a cold weather coda.

Seems like it'd be pretty good, right? Well... no.
Despite the name, I didn't get any orange or citrus at all. In fact,
it's a little skunky. Similar to Blue Moon, and not in a good way.
Dortmunder Style, which I can only assume is German for "light beer".
Truly, nothing special here. Not at all bad, just regular by comparison.

#2 Pecan Pie
The one I'm most excited about. The name implies notes of mocha with
maybe a hint of brightness. Reminds me a bit of Shiner's Smores beer from
a few years ago (which I loved!), but this one is darker. A dark chocolate
flavor in a dark stout. Really good, but ya have to earn it. A little
sweetness would go a long way to making this feel less like work.

Pretty much pecan pie in a bottle. Really good, but as sweet as candy.
One is enough. But it's a tasty one. Sip it.
#1 Holiday Cheer
The ol' winter standby. A dose of peach. A hint of pecan. Distinctive.
Full circle: sample the others, return to the best.
