His long time guitar hero (1987-2025), Zakk Wylde, is still out there bringing metal to the masses, and his current tour is entirely dedicated to Ozzy's time as the leader of Black Sabbath. As a cleverly named side project, Zakk Sabbath lets ya know exactly what you're in for.
NOTE: I saw the real Black Sabbath twice, once with and once without Ozzy, but Zakk Wylde was the draw this time. Dude is a beast of a guitar player, and I've admired his gritty stage presence for quite a while. It's something I actually mentioned in a post from 2007 when I caught Ozzy's solo tour. "Zakk Wylde is part thrash guitar hero, part Viking. This guy made the show for me with his playing and his look. Man crush." I stand by that today.
