Christmas Forest

We've had a really nice Christmas tree setup for quite a while. Living in the same house for 25 years will do that! It's pretty dialed in: the classic ol' tree in the corner adorned with color coordinated ornaments (red, white & silver), matching garland across the cabinet and mantle, and a few select decorations thoughtfully placed to match the vibe. Nice. Calm. Peaceful.
The OG Setup: Refined over 25 years, just right.
That original tree started getting pretty thin a few years ago though. So whenever anyone would mention they were getting rid of their tree for whatever reason, Jenny would bring it home, always with the intent to replace our old one.

But then, the next Christmas would come around, we'd put up the old one (because we like the classic look above), and the new arrival would stay boxed up.

Until this year.

This year, we decided to dig deep into the attic, and put em allllll up. And surprise... we have NINE! (oops 🤷)
The Hundt: Claimed from friends who moved and didn't want to take it with them.
The Original: 4 feet tall, a holdover from the apartment days.
Church Skinny One: saved from the dumpster when our church decided to get all new trees.
Mystery Smallin: no one knows where this 4 footer came from or how it got here.
Big Green: 9 feet(!) of green also saved from the church where it used to reside on the altar.
The WFH: Bought for a USAA work event, it's now part of Jenny's work from home office.
Church Skinny Two: saved from the church, N&D do this one up right in the retroLAB.
The van Pelt: "I never thought it was such a bad little tree. It's not bad at all, really."
