Texas Okays Another One

The time has come, once again, for another of us to get out there on the road. While Texas, God, and the Gregorian calendar conspired to delay her a day (birthday fell on Sunday), they couldn't stop the inevitable. As of Monday the 17th, Danielle is legal to drive on her own! (or with 1 non family member)
Sharp eyes may notice the Honda Fit in the photo above, but that's still Jenny's daily ride. So, following longstanding family tradition, we worked out a half & half deal for the 2007 Jeep Liberty.
So far, so good. The ink is dry and the $750 was transferred. I am slightly concerned that she asked what would happen if she missed a payment though. Mainly because... I dunno. 🤷 It's never been tried! Repossession maybe?
198,815 miles, 2 new tires, full tank, running good, only moderate hail damage
Will it make it another 15-20,000?
IMPORTANT: Nobody is cleared for the road without being able to change a tire, and that is no small feat with Libby! She's taller, has bigger wheels, and the full size spare is mounted on the back. Just getting that down from there is a full body effort. So, first step of the training: "Take a deep breath and acknowledge that you're going to get dirty. Wherever you were headed, you're gonna be late. And you may need to go back home to change clothes first."
Off on her own in her own car to her first after school event. And she earned it!
