The Final Whistle

What officially started back in August, is a wrap - the 2025 Cougar volleyball season is complete (as of Friday). Danielle's time as #4 and as the libero for the JV team was a fabulously fun journey.

2 Scrimmage events
5 Non-district games
2 Exhausting Weekend tournaments
14 District games
Some wins (6)
More loses
3 Elementary School Visits
Fun high school memories

There was a lot more to it than just the games. Danielle spent dozens of hours with this team every week working out, practicing, getting ready and just being together. There was much fun along the way. They might not always win on the court, but they do know how to win the Homecoming Parade -- another first place victory!

Jets, Giants, Yankees

Lucky Winner of Volleyball Mum!

Pink Out!

Pink Out Support Team

New this year were visits to a few feeder elementary schools: Ethridge, Camey and Morningside. The whole team greeted the next generation to school on a couple mornings, and invited them to the games those evenings.

And finally, let's not forget the cool volleyball hair! Not every game this year, but I certainly loved it when Emory fixed Danielle's hair!

Super proud of the TCHS JV VB team!  It is not just about the final score or the rankings -- it is about contributing what you can to the team and the game, and approaching it with joy and good energy and accepting whatever is outside your control.

Remembering the good times!

And yes, for the record, Danielle continued to throw her hands in the air after every single Cougar point this season! Go Cougars!
