It's not that we haven't worn our weights since last year, it's just that we haven't done anything official. Interesting thing about 9/11 though, it comes around every year.

After coming across his memorial during Carry The Load a few months ago, and ever since his death really, we're always reminded of our friend, and former Stars coworker (to both of us), Michael Carnell at events like this. Solid dude. Even more solid citizen.

Another respectable finish, almost a repeat of last year. Even down to the exasperated "Really?!?!?" exclaimed by Jenny when Danielle took off near the finish. How she was surprised by this, I have no idea because I sensed Danielle was anticipating it the whole time.
Result: same as last year. Danielle for the win by one second!

| One event, multiple disciplines: 5k racers, 5k runners, 5k ruckers (us), 1 mile fun runners. Noteworthy: about 2 minutes faster than last year across the board. Go us! |
