TCHS VB JV

Let's go! After a summer of practices, a 2-day team camp and two days of try outs, Danielle received the word:

Another season of high school volleyball is in our future! I'm soooo excited...for her!!

For the 2025 season, there were 49 girls vying for the coveted spots to wear the black and gold cougar volleyball jerseys. Danielle is proud to have secured her place on the JV team, mainly as a defender. However, the coach made a comment about challenging her to play more, perhaps due to her overall athletic ability, which was on display when she was ranked 6th overall after the first day of try outs! Danielle was Player Number 17.  

Danielle got one day of rest and then it was game on! Multiple alarms have been set the last few days, starting at 5am, so that she can be "a great volleyball player" who arrives early. Phew.   

School starts on Tuesday, and there's another scrimmage that evening. It's about to get very busy, but I'm looking forward to being in the stands, soaking up the gym vibe and cheering on all the black and gold (and white) jerseys! 

NOTE: Eight of the players from last year's freshman team moved up to JV (three JV'ers stayed on JV and two 9th graders advanced straight to JV).
