Well, yep, I executed my plan. Mind you, my plan was very simplistic and frugal. While I wanted a super awesome labyrinth, I gave myself less than 1 day and a $20 max budget. But I was certain something could be accomplished! Stray bricks, a sliced up old fence post, sticks and mulch. Five concentric circles with a few loopbacks.
Previously, I was annoyed by the bare spots in our backyard where the grass wouldn't grow. Now I know that area was waiting to be transformed and serve a different purpose! (at least for a little while)
I enjoyed the challenge and appreciated being outside all day, despite the heat and the mosquitos. I did quite a bit of clean up around the yard, and added a few plants and flowers for aesthetics. BTW, that citronella plant in the center is not repelling any mosquitos whatsoever!
UPDATE: Trixie has already messed up my labyrinth a bit, but I didn't expect too much by using straw, sticks and bricks!
