My, my, my, how time flies.

Already, it's a wrap on Naomi's freshman year at Texas A&M. Did that seem like it flew by to anyone else?

After some miraculous saves hard earned grades on her finals, spring finished the same as fall: all As & Bs. So, a GPA of 3.something. Pretty darn good! And we are pretty darn proud of her.

To celebrate their survival, Naomi & her crew decided to rent VEOs for a spin around campus following finals.

And what are VEOs you ask?

They're basically Honda scooters, but electric.

I know this because from the time I arrived to help her move out, Naomi never stopped talking about em! So, I mean, of course...

"This is so cool! I want a motorcycle now!" - both of us actually
(though we did top out at 17 mph on these)

The rest of the day was spent loading up her stuff...

We are Smiths. If we've paid for meals, we are going to use them. Every. Last. One.

Move In Day (Aug '24) & Move Out Day (May '25)

Although, it's not really goodbye. "See ya later" is more like it. Naomi & Quinci: The Sophmore Sequel coming in August. Same dorm, same floor, literally just two doors down!

One's a night owl, one's an early riser, but somehow, they make it work.
A good match for the hours in between.

On a related/unrelated note, Libby made what should be her final road trip, returning home without incident. She still runs great, but an upcoming interfamily car switcheroo means she'll likely be spending the rest of her days in & around The Colony. We salute her 18 years (so far) of reliable service, and welcome her to semi-retirement.
