Girl Scout Blow Out

Soooooo, Danielle's Girl Scout troop has been fizzling the last couple years, but we/I kept it going because it seemed like the right thing to do. And well, I really like having an excuse to take them camping. While they enjoyed it, it began to feel like it was more for me than for them. So, I started asking out loud what the future looked like, and the decision was made to finish this Girl Scout year and then call it the end after 9th grade. 

The girls were surveyed for what they were most interested in. Let the fun begin!

Fritz's Adventure Park - yes! But first a nutritious lunch.

This was fun, but a LOT of effort! Full body workout. (The fuel from the healthy meal was quickly depleted and a second lunch was requested.)

There was a bit of a reward for the hard work!

  

Next up: throwing pottery. Like for real. On a spinning wheel. Good times at Holman Pottery.

And finally, a time when all 5 remaining girls were available at the same time: a final meal together and a favorite pastime! Cheesecake Factory...

...and books from Barnes & Noble. Yep, all of 'em love books! (A silver lining of TikTok = Book-Tok!)

This equates to less time on devices!

And an extra little surprise!! Yes, the Human Crane. Silly, and slightly underwhelming, but unique. Mark it off the list.

That was a LOT of Girl Scout cookies that made it all possible! (And plenty of frugal decisions over the years. 😎) There will be one...more...get...together...to say farewell to the troop while the sisterhood spirit lives on!
