The middle of our Spring Break has been pretty chill. We're just working through our list of odds and ends...
Naomi needed a haircut and to pay her taxes.
Danielle wanted to stay in her pjs all day and attend to her digital SIMs.
Both girls had homework and studying to work on.
I needed to get my car brakes and rotors replaced and run 9+ miles.
Jeff had to go to "work" to improve the next great food and beverage item.
We all needed some togetherness so we walked Trixie, ate dinner out at Naomi's hometown favorites (Angelina's and Tony's) and played a strategy card game. (Thanks, Aunt Jessica!)
Everyone also worked on helping Naomi pare down her massive collection of books. She is now about 50 books lighters. Some going to friends, some bound for Little Free Libraries and the rest sold at Half Priced Books -- for a whooping 7 dollars and thirty seven cents!
Oh, and Naomi really wanted to eat Long John Silver's. She loved it, until, about three quarters of the way through, which is typically when she starts "feeling" it and realizes this might be the end. All fried. All tasty.
Meanwhile, Danielle had a fun opportunity to work on her golf skills, which are still in the beginner phase.
Nothing major, but much accomplished and togetherness achieved, minus school and work.
