After spending the first part of the week in all different directions, Spring Break 2025 needed something special to bring us all together. Something we all have in common...
Meow Wolf Houston: RADIO TAVE
The ETNL Community Radio began its life on Earth in a little town in East Texas called Little Thicket. Back then, ETNL was a pillar of the community, its doors always open to any weirdo who wanted a show.
That was before a strange event in 1983 when the station was temporarily taken over by strange noises.
You can still find ETNL’s history on every wall and in every corner of the station. But it isn’t just history—the next chapter of ETNL’s story is just beginning.
Upon further exploration, we discovered that much of the station was pulled into an alternate dimension where the station and staff continues to broadcast. (listen to ETNL online here)
Since it was transposed to the Glen, ETNL has become a pillar to a new community: Tavers. Tavers from all over the universes are tuning in and contributing to the Taver Techportal, making ETNL a vital source of Taver entertainment and information.
From inside, Pickleboy Records allows Tavers to record and send their creations out to the universes. As new Tavers, we of course created our own demo.
Cowboix Hevvven is a honky tonk dive bar that resides in a neighboring pocket dimension to the Glen, providing a local watering hole to the ETNL Community Radio station team.

REVIEW: Not as "connected" to the story from the other locations. The sparse references here to Lucius Selig and the other portals felt like Easter Eggs rather than connections. So in one regard, it felt like starting over. Taken on it's own though, the characters and story of what happened at ETNL are still really cool, and right on point for another great MEOW WOLF experience.
This is the fifth MEOW WOLF installation we've visited together.

The flurry of new experiences over the last couple years means we are up-to-date!
For now.
Up next: a pause while we await MW Los Angeles and MW New York City.
