End of an Era

It's been a long journey, but Naomi has officially completed her life as a Girl Scout. She started in kindergarten as a Daisy with 9 other girls...

... and just completed it with 4 remaining troopers. 

2024

Over the last year, they have been spending up their final hard-earned cookie money on a variety of activities including: paint-your-pottery, retro bookstore, ice skating and horseback riding (which unfortunately Naomi missed due to illness). Their final Girl Scout activity: a tea party - which happened to be an activity they did back in October of 2012!

Naomi traversed through the Girl Scout ranks as a Brownie, Junior, Cadette, Senior and finally an Ambassador. Their interactions as a troop definitely waned as they got older and into high school, but they managed to stick together for cookie sales, camping and various outings until this very end! Naomi learned many values and experienced a myriad of adventures along the way, and she's got a patch for most of those moments. 😏

I'm thankful to have been a part for the first four years (before Danielle entered the scene and needed a leader for her troop...). I'm also thrilled that Naomi had this experience and built memories that will last a lifetime! She is forever a Girl Scout alum, but time will tell if she adds her name to the notable list!
