Big doins in the family this week: Ava & Kade got married!

Notice how I said that: "Ava & Kade".

That's how we know em. So when I was asked to announce them at the reception as "Mr. & Mrs. Kade & Ava Trompler" I had to really be intentional with my words. Makes sense, right? No problem.

Except, my brain!

"Everyone, please welcome Mr. & Mrs. ... ... ... Kade & Ava Trompler!"

Or, to put it another way...

"Everyone, please welcome [think] Mr. & Mrs. [think think think oh my God what is happening THINK! D*MMIT THIIIIIIIIIINK!!!] Kade & Ava Trompler!"

Whew!

I mentioned this to a few people afterward and they all replied with some version of "Oh, I thought you were just pausing for dramatic effect. It was good!"

Yeah, that was totally it.
