Cramming in Christmas

We spent Christmas down in Houston with Jeff's side of the family, and we only had about 12 hours when everyone was going to be together! So with careful planning and precise timing, we crammed in as many celebrations and as much Christmas togetherness that we could.

But first we had to get there, and survive a 4+ hour drive in non-stop heavy rain. It was intense, but thankfully we only saw cars who had seemingly hydroplaned (facing wrong direction or off the side of the road) despite a couple of our own  ohmygoodness-ohmygoodness moments. Happy to see Buccee.

Ready...set...party!

There were birthdays and a 60th wedding anniversary...CONGRATULATIONS, Mick & Maureen! The family enjoyed walking down memory lane in pictures and videos, and appreciating the legacy of it all! (See other post about all that celebration!)

Christmas time is here...HALLELJAH!

Silent night, holy night

Son of God, love's pure light

Radiant beams from Thy holy face...

Time to feast ... Our contribution: corn, mashed potatoes, Hershey pie and Naomi-made O'Walter!

Now let's Camel Up! (Thanks Jessica!)

And the latest craze? How about a little pickleball!

Joy to the world!! May your spirit continue to be filled with peace and love that comes with knowing the true meaning of Christmas.
