Week of Birthday'ing

And we're off! Another Smith birthday week has begun, and this one is mostly dictated based on Danielle's food cravings. 😋

First, it's food with friends -- Domino's pizza, but more importantly, Domino's loaded tots! Um, marketing works.

No food here, but a Gold Rush Escape Room instead! Will they find the gold left behind by Uncle Clyde, and escape the mine in time??

YES! With 24 minutes to spare. (Too easy? Too smart?)  Danielle was a whiz at this one -- she definitely led the team!

Always a good time when you can catch a couple tunes at Grandscape... Don't Stop Believin'...

 

That is going to be really loud when it falls...protect your Boba drink!

Back to the house for sleepover & midnight volleyball...but, uh, no, you can't watch an Rated-R movie. (Scream 2)

Next food on the list: 54th Street and an afternoon out with Mimi and Pa! Family forever.

And then...Revolving Sushi for girls night out. No raw fish, please.

What's next?? More exciting restaurant outings including Magic Time Machine! This is actually an idea Jeff has been recommending for a couple years, and Danielle finally took the bait and agreed to use one of her birthday week meals to experience the magic.

It did not disappoint! The whole scene was entertaining with several nooks and crannies in every direction with a different theme. From giants crayons, a library, a school bus, a table inside a lunchbox and a Mario spot.

Danielle, who does not normally like carbonated drinks, enjoyed the Blue Bubbly!

Jeff was happy to see that the salad car was still around, and Naomi was excited that Shaggy (of Scooby Doo) was our server!

Danielle's final birthday feast concluded at Sake Hibachi!

And as a 14-year-old, she now feels qualified to give her feedback!
