Moon Pie

This is important!

I picked up this assortment at the Moon Pie mothership in Chattanooga a couple weeks ago thinking I'd enjoy em on my drive back. But then I remembered: I don't really like Moon Pies! At least the regular ones, which is prolly I got these other flavors to try.

Anyhoo, back at home, no way N&D would be ok not being a part of this. So...

FINDINGS:

• Mint is across the board favorite. It's still chocolate covered, like the regular Moon Pie, but tastes more like a Girl Scout Thin Mint.
• Banana is a pleasant surprise. Three of us like it. Danielle is hung up on it smelling like something else that she couldn't put her finger on.
• Lemon is exactly as expected, for better or worse. Kind of like a lemon pie, but the zest reminds some of cleaning products.
• Strawberry is not at all as expected! Opening the package is a whiff of strawberry. Taking a bite is very reminiscent of Frankenberry cereal: grain, strawberry, marshmallow. And then suddenly, a banana shows up! 🤷
