Hornucopia McKinney

Hornucopia togetherness continued for another week mostly in McKinney, with plenty of hanging out and cousin / family time. Naomi and Danielle worked in a plethora of Fortnight on Nintendo Switch with cousins Ada and Arthur.

The adults went old-school and played board games, including Wingspan and National Parks.

Family and food, meaning there was a gazillion calories consumed from all the treats and eating out! Pei Wei, El Fenix, ChickFilA, Panera, 54th Street, Hutchins BBQ, Tony's Pizza & Pasta, Chili's and Andy's.

It wouldn't be Hornucopia Texas without the typical outings to Apex, Target, Half Priced Books and the traditional cousin haircuts

One extra outing was thrown in for an outdoor concert at Fair Park (in 100+ degree heat!) to experience 80's music with Berlin, Howard Jones and Culture Club. Berlin and Howard Jones definitely brought the better shows and energy! And nobody melted.

I'm thankful for the Vallentines making the trek across the ocean to hang with us in America, building connections and making fun memories! Schedules and conflicting commitments continue to increase as all the kids get older, so I'm appreciative of this phase where we can still make it all work to be together!

Family is not an important thing. It's everything.”
