Convergence Station

Ever since our first encounter with Meow Wolf's House of Eternal Return back in 2017 (and again in 2019), we've been hooked. It's not just the immersive art concept, but the way Meow Wolf weaves stories into their installations. Grand mysteries to be solved while taking in everything around you.

Meow Wolf Denver: CONVERGENCE STATION
Welcome travelers. Before you begin your voyage, write down any memories you would like to hold onto for the future, in case of a memory storm.
Inside the Station, citizens have suddenly started remembering glimpses of four forgotten women who were each somehow tied to the moment of Convergence on each of their homeworlds.

Riding the C Line, we arrive on C Street, a melting pot for beings from across the universe since the Convergence. The story unfolds in the form of MEMs (other people's memories) which we discovered in the various store fronts and kiosks.
And from the citizens themselves!
Within the Convergence, there are four realms: Eemia, Ossuary, Numina, and Immensity. Traveling between them is where the Quantum Department of Transportation (QDOT) comes in.
Though you never know where the next portal will take you. Or sometimes even where the next portal is!
Eemia is home to Panoa, one of the Forgotten Four, and her memories hold the key to the future of this world.
Music is key to her memory of the Convergence.
Back on C Street, around a corner, and down...
SIDE NOTE: I vow to make this by the end of the year. I don't know how, or even why really, but it feels like it must be done.
And then, portal!
Ossuary is an underground operation where the crystals that store memories are mined.
It's easy to get lost in other people's memories.
The largest of the worlds, Numina, is home to the Cosmohedron, sort of the nucleus in this cell of chaotic activity.
Inner nucleus.
As to the story... Our QPass allowed us collect MEMs while traveling throughout the realms of Convergence Station. The more MEMs we collected, the more they started to intertwine, telling the stories of each of the Forgotten Four (Rune Zivai, Panoa, Pam Rodriguez & Darya Kane) and the questionable dealings and motives of General Oleander.
In the end, a rogue QDOT employee was herself a convergence of memories, and the key to preventing The Last Stop.
Chya, and US, for the win! Mystery solved!
BONUS: We get to hold on to our QPass for future study of the Convergence via the online Convergence Exchange!

REVIEW: This is the second Meow Wolf location we've visited, and the second time we've been blown away. Not surprisingly, there is so much to see that can be enjoyed without even paying attention to the narrative. The QPass is a great innovation though for following the story of the Convergence, and we really enjoyed trying to keep track of what happened. And of course, solving it! Reaching the end is always satisfying! 👍👍👍👍
