Griffin Grammys

Danielle wrapped up her second year of band by celebrating at the Griffin Grammys! 

While this go-around did not include quite the big individual surprise as last year, it is quite amazing to see what the Wind Ensemble band accomplished this year! They received Superior ratings at every competition they entered, and ended up earning the Top Middle School Award at their final competition! Apparently, most bands at their grade level play music rated as a 2. Danielle's band selected songs rated as 3.5 or 4. Take a listen, and judge for yourself...

Danielle did not go home empty-handed. She (uh-huh, along with 75% of the rest of the band) received an Outstanding Musical Achievement Award. She did put in the extra work to complete the requirements, so we celebrate her moment! Play on, Danielle!
