BirthDAY Traditions

Over the last several years, several birthDAY traditions have formed.One is that the birthday girl wakes up on the morning of her birthday surrounded by a sea of balloons. (Boy am I glad we have a 24hr Walmart nearby...we nearly forgot about it this year!!)

 

Thanks to a tip from a friend a couple years ago, there's also hanging balloons with dollars inside! Popping that first balloon is always intense.

The other birthday tradition includes a dinner outing to Chuck E. Cheese's. This pilgrimage started in 2010 and Chuck has had a makeover since then. Here's the new contemporary Chuck:

We were super surprised to find a new "game" at our C E. C location: bumper cars! And it only costs 1 token! The girls spent about 20 tokens on this 1-minute ride.
