The cousins!! Naomi, (some random kid), John, Christopher and Danielle.
Finally all together. (well, at least all the state-side cousins.) The splash pad was rated so-so, but the rest of the park was a thumbs up by the kids. It had multiple tunnels and cool rock climbing spots, that made the parents nervous!
The nearby River Market provided a cool resting spot and lunch place, not to mention delicious rainbow sherbet and princess cotton candy ice cream!
There's not a whole lot of sight-seeing in Little Rock, but we did check out the Clinton Presidential Center. It was a bit too wordy for the kids, but they enjoyed running the country for a few minutes in the Cabinet Room.
We also made a quick stop in the Oval Office. Thankfully, Naomi and Danielle were very well-behaved.
Speaking of thankfulness, we managed to get all the kids through the Chihuly glass art exhibit without any damage!
Dinner at the All Aboard Restaurant was a favorite of the cousins. Our food was delivered to the table via train! A hanging tray is pulled along by the train, dropped at our station and then lowered down (on your head if you're not careful!). Yes, pretty cool. There were 4 trains working and the kids had names for each of them.
NOTE: We also had dinner at Gusano's Chicago-style pizza one night - but no pictures from that outing. (And Jeff had it again for lunch before we departed Little Rock. If you're keeping track...that's 3 times in about 5 days!)

Sounds like Guisano's IS in the race.
ReplyDeleteNow, if they just had a pizza delivery train...
Ok, so it's misspelled... Sorry, no offense!
