Giving Thanks in all Circumstances

NAOMI CAME HOME! (She surprised Danielle and I - Jeff knew -- by making it home a day earlier than we expected.)

Here's to another moment in time full of gratitude and family togetherness! It kicked off with volunteering at Operation Christmas Child shoebox processing. Almost three hours on our feet processing a couple hundred boxes full of joy and hope to be sent to kids in Dominican Republic and Mexico.

We were honored to host the feast at our place with the Smiths, Browns, Karls and Horns. It might seem like a lot of work, but literally everyone pitches in and many hands make light work!

Jeff introduced a new ingenious twist on the traditional meal: Thanks-aco, putting a handle on Thanksgiving! (catch phrase coined by my Dad)

Crazy improbability
but oh so tasty

The Cowboys provided the entertainment and delivered a much needed victory, while the Smith siblings dressed the part, honoring the legendary Roger Staubach.

The fun rolled on into Black Friday, for the traditional family Pickleball showdown and celebrating November birthdays! (well, one is almost in November...)

The adults enjoyed beer tasting and lessons from Julie...

While the non-drinking cousins played Head's Up!

So much to be thankful for!
