I dunno why, but every now and then I think "Maybe I should grow a beard. 🤔 "
It usually doesn't go well. The first few weeks of fighting thru itchy neck to get something started are pretty annoying. But it'll be worth it, right?
And it takes about that long for anyone to notice something is happening. Because really, especially since I retired, it's hard to distinguish a few weeks' growth from just regular laziness. In my case anyway. It takes about a month to get full coverage (covering my whole jawline), even if it's not full coverage (filled in follicle fullness). And then, that's it?
Well, no because it comes in half grey now. Not only does that give Santa vibes, the light color also doesn't help the fullness visual at all! In fact, it just makes it look that much more wispy. The answer: Just For Men beard wash. (hey, I'm all-in this time, no stone unturned and all that)
So a couple more weeks of growing, and washing, and now I'm finally there?

Not terrible. Almost 6 weeks. As good as it gets? |
