Danielle's Girl Scout troop participated in the city's Christmas parade. They were special guests on the veteran's float!
Naomi created her yearly gingerbread house masterpiece at Girl Scouts, complete with her signature style of little gummy bears perched on top!
Another yearly holiday tradition is for us to head to the "fancy" neighborhood to check out the over-the-top lights displays. This is a real life version of the Griswold's lights! It was amazing!
As if the lights weren't enough, this particular house even had Santa's helpers handing out candy canes!
We made our final venture to Six Flags for the year during Holiday in the Park. More hot chocolate and lots of lights and Christmas music! (Yes, Christmas music, not holiday music.)
And of course we rode (drove) all of our favorite rides!
The Colony High School theater group put on an awesome holiday show with all the Christmas highlights: music, characters and nativity. It was fantastic (these students are the reigning state champions in some theater competition -- Julie and Tony would be proud!)
We are now sufficiently prepared to be grateful, to spread love and cheer and welcome the spirit of giving and receiving the greatest of gifts!
