Danielle produces plenty of diapers throughout the day and Naomi is always ready to throw them in the trash.
Naomi helps bathe Danielle while Danielle patiently sits and watches her big sis in action.
Sometimes they "play" together - Naomi will bring Danielle a toy or a book. Danielle always graciously accepts it, no matter where it's placed (on her belly, in her ear, right in her face, etc).
At other times, Naomi sits and watches Danielle and provides commentary - "Oooohhh, she's so cute!" or "Look! Her eyes are open." Naomi is regularly fascinated by the fact that Danielle can't control her arms or legs. She giggles at the noises that Danielle makes. Danielle coos and squeals right back and wiggles in response to the sound of her sister's voice.
Many times, Naomi likes to do exactly what Danielle is doing, no matter how remedial it is. Danielle seems glad to have someone by her side.
Danielle is constantly reminding Naomi of her younger years. Danielle: Hey Naomi, remember when you were a little tiny baby? This is how you burp. This is how you spit up. This is how you say "waa waa" for attention. This is how you pose for your monthly progress picture with George. Naomi has fun imitating Danielle and plays right along with her.
Most of all, I think they just like having each other around.
those are great pictures.....mimi
