In school, whenever kids are planning to go on a field trip, a paper permission slip form comes home for a parent to sign. We've been doing this for the last 13 years. It is usually to an educational place for an outdoor adventure or a fun place for a celebration, or perhaps to visit a future school. In all the dozens of forms that have come home, I've never paid much attention to the location until Danielle's most recent form. Destination: Kroger.
Wha? The kids are headed out to go Kroger'ing?!
Danielle sensed my confusion and cleared it up: It's for Culinary Class.
Oh! Duh. That's the perfect destination for a cooking adventure.
So yes, Danielle and friends recently headed to Kroger to purchase items for a meal that will be prepared for guests at an end-of-year celebration ceremony.
The menu: pizza, pasta, salad and cookies!
Danielle and team had to locate 23 different items.
I heard all was fine, except they had one of those grocery carts with a wiggly, bum wheel that pulls left. (They didn't notice at first and just didn't feel like going back)
All items collected!
Good times.

Carts that won't go straight are the worst!!
